Located on six acres in the hilltown of Conway, Massachusetts, Wilder Hill Gardens is an exuberant example of diverse and sustainable agriculture.
The primary crops we market are herbaceous perennials, cut flowers, woody shrubs and trees, including old-fashioned roses and bamboo. In our greenhouse, we grow a selection of rare and unusual herb plants. We have a growing collections of willow species useful for basket-making, trellises, and stream-bank stabilization, and we are researching propogation methods of this valuable plant.
A frequent destination for
garden clubs and tours, Wilder Hill Gardens also hosts
two apprenticeship programs. The first meets weekly from
May through September. The second is a six-week intensive
program, beginning in July.
